Music was not a place I would consider feminine, therefore, embracing the new feminine standards can be a huge challenge. It really was difficult for me to think, "Okay, I can be soft and feminine and tough and be able to take care of me and not shrink my self-esteem." It was a lot of enjoyable to put on heels, dresses, fabrics and curls every day. It was quite stressful, as I'm much younger than the actors who are in Fantastic Beasts]; there are a lot of pressure. This was quite a shock, but I felt a force pushing me upwards. There was a chance for me be crushed or crumble due to the way I wanted the role and the size of it. You can go for days in the streets, exploring museums cafes, parks and the like and just observing individuals. There is a feeling of being isolated in LA and London, however the Tube is right in the heart of the action. Each human being you could imagine can be seen. I am a fan of watching the people around me. Since I'm from the world of music, I'm constantly in awe with men. The feeling of working with guys is intimate. The books were a wish fulfilled for myself. The books I've read during the tour were incredibly impressive and enthralling. It's a fantastic world to lose yourself into.
