Canadian screen actress known for portraying Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. CBSs Blood & Treasure was her first role in 2019. Silk has also been seen on Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic who hails from Fredericton New Brunswick Canada and Ilkay Silk, an actress producer director playwright educator. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's first experiences were being a watcher of her mother's work, in the kitchen and going to play rehearsals. Silk made several commercials when she was just a little girl. In 1997, she earned an undergraduate education from St. Thomas University. When she first began her career in theater she appeared in at least 2 Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Samuel and Levi Cooperman are their names. two children. In 2009, she landed as the main character in Lost Girl. The character she played Bo along with Lauren as lovers of the same gender in Lost Girl was named one of the series's all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN and named the The Top TV Couple in 2013. E! Entertainment Television. Due to the shows popularity Silk gained a large presence on social media.
